Dear Dot

We got keys to our new home today. The street it's on is called "prince's rise" and your name means little prince according to some. Coincidence much?

You did come along with us to collect the keys and were really happy with all the extra space and the garden but don't think you realise it's your new home yet.

You spent the afternoon at Edyta's with Sabrina while dad and I moved stuff. It's our first move with you around and it's proving to be a little tricky because you think packing is unpacking and vice versa . But still comforting to know you are always willing to help.

I am a little bit sad about leaving our current house because this was our first home in London and your first home ever. But I think this new place will be great for all of us.

I have big plans of gardening and getting you a little gardening kit as well...let's see what the new place has in store.

Dear Dot

You have turned me into a squeamish wuss who can't watch her child hurt. As punishment you are not allowed to break, cut, hurt, bruise yourself. If you do, please go to the hospital and fix yourself. Then you can come see me.

P.S. I still love you because you dispense genuine cuddles and kisses on demand.

Dear Dot

There is a lovely young girl, Gosia, who takes care of you at daycare. She is really really pretty and you really really love her. You get jealous when she holds other babies and you beam and blush when she calls your name.
Congratulations on your first love.

Dear Dot

Someday you will be all grown up and go for expensive haircuts and buy fancy hair care products or have dreadlocks or have a Mohawk but do know that today dad and I cut your hair while you stood in the sink and then we vacuumed you clean. You look alright. But hey you are golden inside!

Dear Dot

This is exactly what you look like when you are being a total nautanki and saying No. EXACTLY like this.

Dear Dot

You got your own room today! At 19 months you are the first to have your own room. Your parents didn't have this luxury until they were in their teens.

Use your room well. Create many fantasy worlds. Build a castle. Or a tramshed. Live it up !
