Dear Dot

You are getting along well at the new house. Loving all the extra space to loiter about in. Still not sure about the garden though. You keep walking around clutching your toys in the garden. Maybe because you think it's Greenwich park and you can't leave your toys behind ?
You are a curiously particular child I must say. You close doors behind you. Shut open drawers, boxes, cupboards. Put things in the trash and offer to pick up after dad and me too. We are enjoying these perks of parenthood I must say. Quite the cute little house elf you are turning into.

You have decided to take this parenting business in your own hands now and decided to toilet train yourself starting this week. You wake up in the morning and go into bathroom where you put your baby toilet seat on the the toilet and keep saying poo while pointing at your bum until your diaper is taken off and you are put on the seat. You also applaud yourself on a successful doodoo.

Positive reinforcement at work now propelled by self will and grit. Good luck to you and your self-parenting.

Dear Dot

We got keys to our new home today. The street it's on is called "prince's rise" and your name means little prince according to some. Coincidence much?

You did come along with us to collect the keys and were really happy with all the extra space and the garden but don't think you realise it's your new home yet.

You spent the afternoon at Edyta's with Sabrina while dad and I moved stuff. It's our first move with you around and it's proving to be a little tricky because you think packing is unpacking and vice versa . But still comforting to know you are always willing to help.

I am a little bit sad about leaving our current house because this was our first home in London and your first home ever. But I think this new place will be great for all of us.

I have big plans of gardening and getting you a little gardening kit as well...let's see what the new place has in store.

Dear Dot

You have turned me into a squeamish wuss who can't watch her child hurt. As punishment you are not allowed to break, cut, hurt, bruise yourself. If you do, please go to the hospital and fix yourself. Then you can come see me.

P.S. I still love you because you dispense genuine cuddles and kisses on demand.
